We are dedicated to helping children and their families reach their speech, language, and/or feeding goals through research-based therapy, education, and collaboration. Our therapy style uses a play-based, child-centered approach to make communication meaningful. We believe every child deserves access and opportunities to communicate with their environment. We strongly value the collaboration between service providers and family to support meaningful carryover of learned skills.

ABOUT US
Monica Welsh, MS. CCC-SLP is a board certified Speech-Language Pathologist who loves working with children of all ages. She is licensed by the State of Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts and is accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association. Monica has experience working with children in a variety of settings, including Early Intervention, preschools, daycares, elementary and middle schools, and residential programs.
Monica graduated from Northeastern University in Boston with her undergraduate and graduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2015 and has been working as a licensed SLP for 8 years.
Monica has a passion for working with children and their families to help those diagnosed with language delays, speech sound disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Delay, Intellectual Impairment, and those with Multiple Disabilities. She has experience working with children who use alternative methods to communicate including signs, communication boards, switches, high-tech devices, and eye-gaze and loves to help children make connections with their method of communication and the world around them! She has formal training in programs including Visualizing and Verbalizing, CAN-EAT Approach to Feeding, and various communication systems such as LAMP, GoTalk, NovaChat, and ProLoquo.
In her free time, you can find Monica running after her two little children, trying to squeeze in a workout, or exploring local restaurants with her husband.
